Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Love the pizza! This place is perfect for hanging out, spending time with family, or just chilling while enjoying the sunset. One small detail I really loved, they even provided anti-mosquito spray for the outdoor area. So thoughtful!"
"The driver we booked recommended this place for lunch. Upon entering, it felt more like we were in Bali than in Bintan! The ambience at the al fresco area was beautiful, as was the panoramic view, but of course we decided to dine indoors in airconditioned comfort since it was a hot afternoon. The menu is huge, practically an encyclopaedia, and great photos showed what to expect with every dish. And there was no false advertising, because they really turned out exactly as depicted. The Tenderloin Meltique was delish, as was the Fusion Laksa. We also ordered a box of 4 favourite pastries to go (forgot to take photos) and they were yummy too. Will definitely be back the next time we're in Bintan."
"Beautiful location for a romantic or memorable meal. Food was quite good - duck buns, kangkong with quail eggs was special. Oxtail soup was ok. Satay was tasty but the meat was rather chewy. Calamari was good but it came with bottled chili sauce which really should come with local chili. We asked for local chili and it turned out one had to pay for it, which is a bit of a damper cause it's considered a high end restaurant. The cereal prawn were a disappointment - bland and if not for the chillis that we ordered, it would not have been pleasant eating. Lastly we had a table by the edge and were moved after having settled down for several minutes - again not good form for similar class of restaurant that one would experience in Bali, for example. Coffee cam with financier cookie-nice touch. Still worth a trip up the hill for the experience."
"Everything about this restaurant is perfect — from the warm ambience and attentive staff to the outstanding food. It truly made me appreciate how amazing Indonesian cuisine can be. Whatever you order, it’s bound to hit the right spot. Highly recommended!"
"Really pretty view! Shame that when we were there it was gonna rain so we had to head in. Cocktail was more like a mocktail as it was kinda sweet. But loved the food!"
"Reached around 5.50pm and was just in time for a sunset. Overall a good dining experience, very windy in the evening and I have to say the view was stunning. Highly recommend if you are in Tanjung Pinang and looking for a place to chill in the evening"
"Great taste, great place, great people! Had a wonderful dining experience at The Manabu Bintan. The food tasted amazing, the location is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and relaxing—perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family. What really stood out was the service. All of the staff were attentive and friendly, with special thanks to Azizah for her patient, caring, and truly homey service in taking care of our order. She made us feel very comfortable and well looked after. Highly recommended and definitely looking forward to coming back! Regards, Pal"
